This is our story


Starting from the initiation of IPB University retirees, PT Global Scholarship Services Indonesia (PT GSSI) was founded on March 12, 2009. Initially, the establishment of this company was intended as a vehicle for activities and a source of funding for the Association of Retired Employees of IPB (P3 IPB) at that time. Initially the company's activities focused on awarding postgraduate study scholarships. That's where the name “scholarship” comes from.

Years change, times evolve. Towards the end of 2014, IPB P3 administrators felt that the company had to be refreshed and managed more professionally. This underlies the process of granting shares of PT GSSI to IPB University through its parent company, namely PT Bogor Life Science and Technology (PT BLST). Since then, the company has officially become part of a business entity belonging to IPB University with the majority of shares owned by IPB University as a Legal Entity State University (PTN BH).

Since 2014 the company has begun to rearrange its business model and focus on developing human resource (HR) competencies. The company started moving with models of technical training to help professionals such as veterinarians and technical workers in the food and beverage industry. Furthermore, the company began to strengthen its position in the minds of customers by participating in changing the brand to IPB Training as the organization's call name. Now, various learning modules and service portfolios continue to grow with a strong intention to provide students with structured, systematic and continuous learning solutions.

We believe that managing this company is not only about us, nor is it always about profit, but the most important thing is the positive impact for each stakeholder. For you customers and service users, we dedicate a variety of products and services that we hope can answer your needs, desires and preferences.
